2008년, 6주에 걸쳐서 Impose & Viva가 The New Front Ear가 될 전 미국 언더그라운드 밴드들을 찾아 다녔습니다.

찾아낸 아티스트 들 중에서 볼티모어 휴먼 비트 머신 Dan Deacon, 개러지 록의 선구자인 The Black Lips, 브루클린 고스트 펑크 These Are Powers, 로스엔젤레스의 소닉 스트랭글러이자 맹글러인 Mika Miko and HEALTH, 그리고 그밖의 중요한 아티스트들이 컴필레이션 앨범에 포함되었습니다.

Thew New Front Ear는 레코딩 환경으로서의 노래 뿐만 아니라 각각의 밴드들의 에너지의 정수를 담았습니다. 여러분들은 Market Hotel 의 땀냄새와 맥주로 적셔진 바닥의 The Earl과 Floristree 벽의 미술작품 얼굴들을 느끼실 수 있을 것입니다.
